This company keeps calling my home saying they are from Microsoft and there is a security problem for my computer. I have previously told them I don't own a computer.Today they called again I told them they are a prank caller I have no computer they hung up. each time they called they try to make it sound urgent but again i do not own a computer so it can not be urgent they sometimes try to argue I am I sure really what a mess who need security for something they don't have. Stupid robo-dialing scam artists

These guys are using internet phone directories to cold call people. They CLAIM to be the service department at Microsoft. They will volunteer a Licence ID # and claim they have error messages proving that someone is hacking your computer. The phone # they called from is 971-622-8808. They are clearly NOT American (as per accent) but the supervisor will give you the name Richard Williams with this 800-348-7762 as his call back # at Microsoft's Service Desk.
To test them out, I hung up on the first representative that called me. Do you know what happened next? The same foreign call center representative called me back to say: "Why did you hang up on me??" Now really, the people who WORK for Microsoft are way too busy for crap like this.
Totally a SCAM. Do NOT give them any personal information or confirm anything with them.

They call frequently stating they are with Windows and can not answer the question "Who wrote Windows" or "Who Owns Windows". He called me names and was degrading. Obviously a SCAM!
