Caller claims that my computer has malware of some sort and that he can guide me in downloading something that he clains will fix it. By questioning him for details I quickly establish that he has no evidence to support his claim. Based on past experience I suspect that his intention is to install malware on the computers of those naive enough to follow his instructions.
I hung up and suggest that anyone else who receives such calls does likewise.
