Automated message recorded on my answer machine. Female voice - 'HMRC (at least it sounded like HMRC) is filing a law suit against you. Please press 1 to speak to your case officer'. I didn't press one but I did call the number. When it connected I heard what sounded like some small office noise and then a male voice saying, with a foreign accent, what sounded like 'HMRC'.As soon as I asked who I was speaking to the call was disconnected. I re-dialled several times immediately after but each time my call was quickly disconnected. I then called from a different phone and got an automated message just saying 'Leave a message after the tone'. I didn't leave a message! Obviously some sort of scam against anyone who answers the phone and presses 1.
