   i have not answered the call however, i put a block on this number a few months ago and it now seems to have reset and they have been calling me persistently. just block their number on your hand set and you wont' get any calls from them. no point in getting upset, there's nothing we can do - so just block them. it is a scam. i don't answer any 08... numbers anyway. just thought i'd add to the forum so people know

   15 calls from number re: PPI.
   
   pressed 2 to go through (at great expense to me) to tell them I was on TPS & to stop calling me.
   
   Asked name of their company & they gave a false name (I have live access to companies house).
   
   Told them this.
   
   Got told to 'fuck off'

   Called my mobile and on pick up clearly stated they were NAT wEST BANK
   calling about my rebate ..... considering I do not have an account there this just pure lies and deception. Thanks to the internet I'm not racking up phone costs calling them back on a premium line. TOERAGS.

    Even after telling them several times to delete my information under the Data Protection Act of 1998, they still keep calling me. If it happens again i'm going to full on shout down the phone and break their phone speakers. Then take them to court.

    Several calls from this number to my mobile (no idea how they got my number as I am very careful about it!). I don't answer unknown numbers anyway, but this one rings off VERY quickly in any case so that even if I chose to answer there would be little time to do so. Completely pointless exercise but extremely irritating!

    call me frequently and when i pick up it's an automated message about being owed money from "the top banks"

    My mobile rang during I was driving the car. It was so annoying! 3 calles in 20 minutes. I could not answer. Is there anybody, who knows more?
