I just got a call from this number, wanted me to press 9 to be connected to a "litigator". They are threatening to contact employer, sue you, and file a restraining order. Have gotten one or 2 like this in past. Never took any action and nothing ever happened. It is a junk company that buys bad or bogus debts and tries to collect and it is B.S. Incidentally, what the heck does a debt, real or phony, have to do with a restraining order??? Gimme a break!

This is by far the most unprofessional office I have ever had any business with. They called and left me a threatening message twice. I ignored it at first because I knew I had an old debt from 2007 that was discharged in chapter 7 bankruptcy in 2009. I called the company back and asked them to pull my file and let me knw when they had it. I then told them to shred it and explained I had included this debt in bankruptcy that was discharged in 2009. The lady said "are you broke" I replied that it wasn't any of her concern and she said file again and hung up on me. I continued to call several time and give them a run for their money. I was hung up on by three different people and then the last time I got someone whit decent communication skills who apologized to me. I feel that this is funny more than anything and sometimes it just feels good to mess with companies like that. I do find it funny how every year since my bankruptcy was discharged companies try to call and harass me during tax season. What a joke!

They called twice said I'd be arrasted if payment wasnt made today Had my address and Mothers name on file spelled it out to me and it actually was what he said which freaked me out more I let him know i wasnt going to give any information over the phone for security purposes he said to never do so and asked me aggressively multiple times to drive to my local bank and to make sure a 3rd party wasnt involved to therefore not tell my manager what i had to head out for. THIS IS DEF A SCAM they called my mom regarding her and my dads taxes and asked for her social she hung up on them.

Caller ID said Unknown, DC. They Called and left a message that said it was a response to an allegation of check or bank fraud, it is imperative that they speak to me regarding this allegation, and their office has demanded they contact my employer to verify employment, to issue paperwork for me to appear in court! That I contact 202-417-2021 as of close of business today. I have NEVER committed such a thing!!!! And after seeing these posts here, I can only assume its a scam, attempting to extract income and bank info from people.

They called from 917-268-9953 and 3853133975 and 202-4172021 they even called some my family members asking for me I don't know who they got my name nor family numbers threaten that I did bank fraud and there going to serve me at my employment and I have to the end of the day that I'm going to get paperwork to get served tomorrow for court / first off my credit is good and my bank accounts are an excellent standing I called my finance company about this told me don't give them no info them a scam so please any gets a call from this number hang up don't give them no personal info

I just got a call from the 2024172021 number. They said I was going to be served papers for check fraud. Told me I could settle this by making payments and that I could settle for less then what was owed. She told me they could not send me papers on the court documents that they send it back to Texas once payments are set up. After I was done with call I called the court house in TX and they said there is nothing for check fraud in my name of ss. She proceed to look on google and told me about the comments made under this phone number, So I'm glad I called them.

I received multiple calls as well.
I called back, from the law firm where I am employed, and was instantly hung up on.
The second time, disclosing no information, I asked the company name; They replied "Litigation." I responded, informing them litigation was not a name but a type of law practiced and inquired as to the name of the firm. They repeated "Litigation." They did however give me a link to a very uninformative website.
If anyone finds out their address I would love to serve "Litigation" with a cease and desist order. -

if these idiots would spend as much time to trying to find a REAL job as they are in scamming people. Some of them can't even read the script handed to them. I had a local BBB personal on line with me and they hung up when asked what company they worked for. They have been calling me for the last 5 yrs and not once have i been sent any papers they claim they got on me. DON'T TALK TO THEM. DON'T GIVE ANY INFO.

These creeps just called my wifes phone and left a message so she forwarded it to me. Same bs about check/bank fraud and how they need to contact my employer yada yada, or else I go to court. I write one check a month, so I knew something was not right.

Stated that I needed to contact them by the end of the day or they would send paperwork to employer. I called the number they left and of course no one answers. Same thing as everyone else: These people keep leaving a message for some person whom is not me nor do I know. I have filed 2 complaints with the federal consumer protection. About to be a 3rd time. They state that there is an allegation of check fraud and that if they are not contacted by the end of business they will be coming to my employer.
I did get them answer and somehow was able to get someone there so upset they actually stayed on the line for some back and forth. Kind of fun to mess with them. They are a scam so don't let them have any real info. -

Got a voice mail on my cell, stating the same thing that everyone else is saying. I called them back first time I asked what is this pertaining to, they stated that I am being sued for $1,500 from Cash Advance loan which I suppose have taking out in February 2008. Funny thing is that I never taken out a loan in February of 2008, but when asked their name they hung up. So, I called back again and got another person, I told them that I just called and your company hung up I asked this person the and they told me World Wide Requisition, and they stated in the so called suing process, I told them that I didn't do a loan never did, but they got all of my personal information. I told them to send me information in the mail and I will have my layer looked at. Then I asked if I could the name and number of the loan company, then he immediately told me that and other information starting right now they will add $200 per hour to talked with them, and they hung up again. When I called the third time a lady answer, I pretend to make a wrong number, I asked her if this is International Recovery Services and she told me yes it is, she told me that they are part of the World Wide Requisition.

Received an email from U.S. Aviatator of Columbia County Washington, D.C. that I had committed check fraud or somethinf to that affect. Left number of 202-417-2021. Then I received the phone call that everyone is refering to about the 4 hours and garnishment. I called and my name could not be found and I was told that my name would be removed from the list.
Today my mother calls me and saus that these people have called my aunt talking anout this mess and telling her that I need to call them. Now I was really upset. I called them ahsin, this tome the young lady asked for the spelling of my first and last name amd last 4 of my ssn. Then she stated my current address a few phone numbers I recognized and one that I didntt know at all. Bottom line she tried to tell me that I owed $2,500 from a paydayloan that I supposedly received in December 2010. I told her that doesnt sound right and I am going to check with my unncle whom is an attorney because I am have not once receivwd any formal documentation in reference to this situation. I have not received any returned checks. They are not getting any money from me 2,500. Really, naw I dont tjink so. I get a copy of all my returned checks, surely would not have one outstanding for four years..really.,.who does that -

Either way, they tell me to call them by the close of business and that they are calling about check fraud and bank fraud. So irritating and embarrassing to get the calls at work. They call my house phone and cell phone at the exact same time! When answered they say they are a law firm searching for "My previous married name...which was over 8 years ago" and they are after me for check fraud! They will contact my employer...I have until the end of the day to contact them back. Press 9 or call 202-417-2021.
These calls have been going on since December and they say different things every time.
HAHAHA nope not this girl...never wrote a back check in my life!
Curious as to how I get them to stop calling since the number shows up as unknown. -

This company is BS! They keep giving me fake addresses, one was for Domino's Pizza in Washington DC. I asked for the name of their company and they act like they have something to hide and won't give it to me. After calling them a few times I finally got it which was Worldwide Requisitions.

In my case they did have my information correct. They knew my soc- The debts they listed were former real black marks on my credit. The guy I spoke with was evasive and completely unprofessional. I guess I'm lucky that there were plenty of red flags in the dialogue to clue me in to the probable scam.
I gave them no money but I'm still really upset that they know so much about me. Some people must be falling for this and it is awful.
I read message boards on several sites like Tellows.com. The complaints for this number go back 3 months already. Why has nobody stopped them yet?NoTimeForFakeOnes replied 2/10/14, 9:06 PMUGH! Going through the same nonsense, I am sure that my personal info was illegally/unprofessionally sold down the line to these scammers. It's scary that there aren't such laws to protect consumers from things like this. In my case it was an old debt which had been PAID YEARS ago!- over 7 years old. Some how about two years ago my info was released to multiple collectors and it has been a battle since. I've filed multiple complaints with the CFPB. Whatever your case is DO NOT PAY ANYTHING without proof or validation! These companies are not reputable! Also file complaints with CFPB/FTC. Multiple complaints will force them to investigate this foolishness! -

They called and said my husband would be thrown in jail if no one called in 4 hours. I call back and they don't verify MY identity or ask me to verify any of my husbands information. They just say he owes money and begin to make threats towards me if I don't settle his debt immediately. I asked for paperwork to confirm debt and they hung up and now no one will answer the phone.

They called from 2022412021, have gotten these calls before from various numbers, all scams. A legitimate company will proudly tell you their name. Ask for documentation, ha, you'll never get it. Tell them the line is ALWAYS recorded and transcripts sent to the state's attorney general, they'll lose your number real quick.

I have been harassed for months for neglecting to pay a payday loan which I never taken out. They are trying to blackmail me by threats of my employment garnishments and jail time. I have since blocked the number notified and filed a police report and contact the local district attorney about the problem.

Representative states that if they call to take my name off the list or just cont'd to not answer and my name will filter out the list. I am not sure I don't like these calls bc it just crazy. Talking about they will call the employeer, you may have to appear in court, contact your attorney. WTH! I know my phone shows the place is located in Washington, DC.

I have no idea how/why I ended up on this call list but I have been harrassed for months. They also got my parents number and scared them half to death with threats of jail etc. They used some fake case number when they left the vm. I don't know what to do to make it stop! It's ridiculous.

You have 4 hours to contact us or you will be sent to jail etc etc. I called back to try to let them know that I am not Madelyn and this is not her phone. I was told its an automated number and to disregard it and then hung up on. I called back and hung up on. I called back again and she said she could see if I was in their system...I told her I wasn't because I was NOT Madelyn. Got hung up on again. Called back again and supposedly got someone from litigation who was trying to tell me how to get off they call list and that was a bunch of lies. Told them I had reported them to the authorities twice now. FED UP with getting these calls.

This company called me and left a message on my voicemail saying I had 4 hours to respond. I call them back 2hours later. since I am not in debt I wanted to just have a little fun with them. I called them back while using my macbook to record the call. They asked me for my name a couple times. Then was on hold for almost minute. The guy comes back on the phone with a deep voice and asks me to verify my last for of my social. I mentioned the call was being recored. Not willing to give that out. I asked him what was the last four he had on file. He came back with number that were not mine. He also read off some address that wasn't mine. I asked that he remove me from his list. he didn't respond he just hung up.
Do volunteer information. They will change number just to get cash. These companies are trash collectors. The bottom feeder collectors. always record your calls with collectors. It is you right. just make sure to inform them you are. Best of luck to you all.
