I had to confirm my Google Voice number and you either have the option for Google to call you or send you a text message with a confirmation code. when you choose the option for a phone call, this is the number that shows up.

If you are selling on Craigslist you may get a text telling you to answer their call from 202 455 8888, then enter 2 digit code. If you do they have stolen your telephone number to use in Craigslist Scam. To correct it go to Youtube look up "202 455 8888" follow instructions.
