   Very garbled electronic female voice stating to be with the IRS and to return the call. Could not hear the phone number because the recording was so bad. First time I received a call from this but expect more calls in the near future.

   Hard to understand, but eventually they claimed to be a with the chamber of commerce, when I asked for which they changed the story to they are with a federal agency doing an employment verification/background check. When I asked which agency they hung up... definitely scammers.

   I have received calls, always from the 'Medical Compensation' but sometimes it's a real person, always a man with a strong indian accent and sometimes an automated machine. I have repeatedly asked him to place me on the 'Do Not Call List' but still get the calls. I have begun telling him that I am going to sue them for calling my cell phone repeatedly. He was very rude and kept yelling over me telling me to listen to him.

   Called to speak to the person in charge of the electric bill. I'm on the do not call list, and they are not my provider, so they should NOT be calling me. Told them I was going to report to the FCC.

    CREDIT CARD & BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION PHISHER! Do NOT give them your credit card or bank account information! I have received numerous calls from this number. Sometimes this number will be a real person with a strong Indian accent trying to intimidate you into paying some fictitious overdue debt. Other times it will be a fraudulent automated message claiming to be a credit union or bank (the company varies) and telling you to press "1" to be connected to their "security department". After doing so you will be prompted to dial your credit card number, exp. date, security code, bank account number, etc. (again, it varies from call to call) Sadly I am sure the are many (less savvy) individuals who have already fallen victim to this scam... DON'T LET THEM GET YOU TOO!

    Tried to get into my husbands computer!! I answered the phone as they have been calling for days, told him he had the wrong # after he asked for my husband and said it was about the computer.. He has a very thick India accent,
    I never gave him a chance. Hello,good-bye!!

    Beware - it's a scam where people try to intimidate you by making false claims that are completely outrageous! And ironically enough this is not the first call of this nature that I received. A man with a thick foreign accent said that there was a warrant for my arrest and that I should contact this and that number within a day or two or else other legal actions would be taken. Supposedly this was because of some unpaid debt (that doesn't exist). It's really tiring to know that they are still out there trying to fool people like this and just seem to get away with it! I reported them now. Hopefully others will as well!
