YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY OUT-OF-STATUTE DEBTS.
Make a report with your local law enforcement, federal trade commission and consumer affairs division of your state attorney general office. Stop these terrorists and their clear pattern of harassment.

This is a company called "Oxford Law LLC" calling you, trying to intimidate you by claiming that you have some sort of unpaid debt. They are very perstitent, rude and aggressive. It's best to not even pick up the phone and just block their number - they will call at all hours, too. When they first called my number, it was 7 in the morning and it was my day off - so luckily, I didn't wake up to answer in time. Still, they are pests!

When asked to verify information in a collection effort was told they did not have to. Made demands and threatened to cause problems by re posting debt in credit file and contacting employer. Rude individual. When I responded this is a Zombie debt that has been cleared in a federal court , they only replied with so it is you and we will continue with the collectin calls. I offered to send court records in this matter and they stated they did not have to accept them, I said it is over 10 years old, and they stated we believe it is now current and re-instated. I did notify the court and the court claims they made a call to them to straighten it out but have got two calls since then with more threats of getting it back on a credit report and calling my work. They did call my work and tried to bully who they thought to be my Boss, which was me ! I reviled to them it was me, and told them their tactics were unlawful rude and out of line with several laws. They replied they think they have a valid debt and will pursue it.. The Court has now written a formal letter to them and the court has sent notice to the FTC, In the mean time Oxford Law put the info back on my credit report and we are now filing suit... I did get it removed from the credit report but took some arguing! and the letter from the court did the trick Now I even have an apology from the credit reporting agency, only because the letter from the Federal judge was not a kind suggestion, but it was a firm warning of an improper situation... All of this was from a Identity Theft of about 14 years ago...
