Caller claimed to be government agency said I was selected to receive money. I asked them to hold so I could record the conversation. They said ok. I started recording and the caller repeatedly told me to f-off and when I didn't respond he got more and more vulgar calling me names and telling me to F-off

Gee- I just won a grant of $9K from the State Department that I never applied for! All it will cost me is full access to my bank account! Needless to say, I told the woman calling that she was full of *hit and to take me off of the call list. I really hope no one falls for this scam. You could hear other reps talking in the backgroud.

They ask me for 250 dlls in order to get 9000 dlls in goverment grants.. They have my info and i dont know if its real??
anomalous replied 10/23/15, 2:17 PMHa i just got a call from these people saying i got selected 8k but had to send 250 and i would get it refunded back with 8,700 dollars lol.. yea right hung up on them
