I was told I win $8.1 million and I need to wire transfer $350 to an attorney named Rodger Henderson in Amityville, NY in order to have my funds released to me. I told him I don't have the money, so he told me the money would be kept in storage until I could call back with a wire transfer confirmation number. I don't believe it ONE BIT.

Sent an email via [email protected] account. We asked them to call us so we could verify it was a real person in our State. This 2394000550 number from Florida called us. Beware they are scammers and will try all types of scams.
Abovewater replied 11/6/15, 3:28 PMI have been contacted by same email and called by Bruce Stephenson. It's most likely stolen credit cards and they get their merchandise or money and then you'll get a charge back. -

"Sony Rep" called having the info I reported to Sony about a cellphone they are replacing, he asked for CC number to bill cost of replacement phone saying I'd receive the phone within 14 working days. No confirmation email from Sony & coincidentally EXACTLY 14 business days from the call my CC had SEVERAL charges on it none of which are from Sony. Called Sony, they lost the repair/replacement trail the day the "rep" called for the CC. Sony is currently investigating the incident, I still have no phone (28 days now), all cards, emails addresses and passwords have been changed. This guy is more than likely a Sony employee who is privy to customer info, calling said customer from this Magic Jack number asking for a CC for a "repair/replacement" charge then deleting/resolving the customer case number and walking away with a CC number and god knows what else.

Call was not clear at all, but I could hear two things: that I won 3.5 million dollars, and that they need me to pay the amount of shipping - or something like that, as at that time, the audio was too bad. I told them to call me back. They did, but I didn't answer (as I was reading this web page at the same time I was on the phone, and knew it was a scam). So thank you all for the advices!

Received over 4 calls from this number one min apart. I didn't answer the 1st call so they called right back. Finally answered it a man with a jamaican accent, stated this is Federal Bank and wanted me to give them information so they could help pay of my car loan (I don't have any loans at all). Told them this number is on Do not call call list stop calling and remove my number. I hung up. They man called right back and started to yell at me and told me he would keep calling.

Apparently my cell phone number was chosen from spending more than $10 at Walmart, Walgreen's or another store that I cant remember. There were 3 winners in my state and I won 2nd place and $2 million. They wanted to bring a live television crew to my home today to deliver my prize. I knew it was a scam and laughed through the entire call. He didn't speak clear English at all. He gave me a prize confirmation number. I asked where he is from and he said the company is out of Las Vegas. Told me an 85 year old lady a couple of hours away from me won and when they delivered her prize this morning she jumped so high with excitment. LOL
I will be reportibg this scam to my local police dept. -

The caller claimed my bill was late and demanded I make a credit card payment over the phone immediately. When I told him I would hang up and call Verizon to discuss it, he used a rather strong explicative and hung up on me.

Got a call at 1:29 pm and a mans voice, with a heavy accent, asked if I got a confirmation number stating I won 2.5 million dollors. I told him no, so he said plz hold on he'll get the confirmation numder, I hung up. He calked directly back, abd j mean directly, I did not answer, he left no voice mail. I feel strongky it was a con job ready to happen
