   These calls come through all day long and no one will respond or leave a message. The one time someone did respond, I asked who's calling. The response received was dont F*cking ask me that" and the called hung up.

   I am so tired of getting these calls on my mobile phone. No one talks nor do they leave a message if I didn't get the call right away. They call continuously with no purpose. I've blocked their number, but the somehow find a way to bypass that and get through.

   They call several times and say nothing then hang up. I try to call back there's a message saying check number you are dialing for it may be wrong.

   Mechanized voice, probably spoofed cell phone number calling from out of country. As previous comments state, do not give these people any information under any circumstances.

   Keep getting these annoying calls all day long. Calls are from Chicago, IL and caller doesn't leave message.

   These folks call me periodically. I used to let them talk (hey...telesales folks need to earn a living too), until I started picking up on their call patterns. So I saved the # in my phone as "SCAM - Federal Grant Office" and then another (another #) as "SCAM - US Grant Office." Trust me...they are NOT with the US Grant Office.
   
   Like "light1", I supposedly automatically qualified for a grant, and would need to provide a credit card number or checking account number in order to get the money. I asked (no less than 4 times per call) for them to send the information to me in writing...using their Federal Sister Agency called the US Post Office. "We can't do that. We just electronically transfer the money into your account, so I need your credit card number or checking account number. Which one do you choose today?"
   
   After about a month of playing this cat & mouse game, I got smarter. Whenever I saw one of those contacts dialing me, I'd answer it like this: "Hello Federal Grant Office. How are you today? Are you ready to send me the information through the US Mail yet?" They would either hang up, or start talking trash with me like this one guy did. He told me the phone call was being recorded and I was tampering with a Federal office. I told that guy: "Really? Well, then I guess I should let you know that since you've been harassing me so much, I went to the authorities and the FBI is recording this call right now. So, to prove yourself, are you going to send me the information through the US Mail?" The guy hung up. Another time the conversation got even more nasty and the guy told me he had a package for me to sign for (although he was still calling to 'award' me my grant mind you). When I asked if the package contained the details of this grant, he said: "No, inside is all the d****s [sex toys] you ordered for your sex parties. We are the government, we know what you do all the time." I said: "Ohhh...thank GOD you finally sent me those Federal Grant Office d****s [sex toys] I've been waiting so long for them. So where do I need to go to sign to pick up this package?" He said: "Yo mama's a**hole!" and he hung up.
   
   So...while you're blocking 312-587-0128 in your phone, also block these:202-407-9185 and 202-208-8528.
   
   If you have a smart phone, you should be able to set it so the phone automatically sends those numbers to the ignore black hole.

   had same number call me through up red flag as soon as they said i could collect the money through money gram said yeah this is a scam and i hung up immediately the women saying no no no no no like something bad was going to happen... blocked

   Took forever to get him to talk. He said his name was "Michael" and was working in Washing DC and was calling about a grant opportunity. I told him I wasn't in the market for a grant and he said "this isn't a marketing call". I said that I understood and said, I'm not looking for a grant and to remove me from his list. He said "How am I supposed to do that?" like I would know how.

    They called my mobile number telling me that I was given a $9000 grant because I am a good citizen, do my taxes every year, etc etc. I asked what company they were calling me from and a lady was telling me that its not from a company its from the US grant government department and she was giving me Washington address. She asked me if I understood how I got this money, I told her no, she stared repeating that the government sees who do their taxes, does not have criminal record etc. If they call you please keep asking where are they calling you from and how did they get your number. Do not provide any additional info to them.
