   This number called me at work today. The guy said that I owed for an unpaid loan, which I know is bull..however, he has my bank card name, last four of my social, and my full name! I asked him why the BBB has never heard of them, and I was hung up on.

   Got these calls from a person with a thick Arab accent and did mention that there were charges filed against me and that I would be arrested if I did not take care of this matter. I looked into this number and found similar stories that clearly indicate this is an ugly scam.

   someone keeps on calling my job saying that they have information on me. and that they are going to have the police come out and get me. i told them that they are a scam and i am going to call the police regarding them keep on harrassing me at work. twice in one day other number was 508 202 7204, this one said i was involved in a hit and run. LIE i dont know how people can do this and do there best an try too scare people.

   I recieved a call around 5pm told person time was bad he asked why I told him im in grocery store to call back hung up phone he continued calling answered starting yelling saying its at his convience not mine hung phone up once again called back number took person at least 2 mins before answering did not clearly speak companys name asked what he said and then the supervisor and they told me no calls were no longer be made to me made several more attempts to call number no answer

   This number first called my cell phone and said something about "do not ignore this call. There are legal charges pending against you." I disregarded it, then they called my work! I called them back, and this guy said I had an unpaid cash advance loan for over $3,000, that someone would come to my work (they knew they name and address of my employer and my bank!) and arrest me in the next 2 hours if I didn't pay the loan. First I freaked out and asked how I could prevent it. The guy then said, "Well, it could be that the legal proceedings could be avoided if you pay $609 today." This sounded weird to me, so I said I was calling the police to verify this information. Then the guy got nasty with me and said, "Go ahead. I wish you luck as this situation unfolds." I called the police, described the situation, and the police officer said, "You can't be arrested for a debt. That's a civil matter." I asked her if it was a scam, and she said yes. I had to contact my cell phone provider to have their number blocked, and I reported it to my manager at work, too. These people are terrible!

   called and stated that the sherriffs office would be coming to my work tomorrow. I don't even have a cash advance loan. stated they were with the attorneys office in california .. i calle dthe real california state attorneys office and they said that these people were scammers

   A person named Ben something called me saying that i have charges for a loan and i must head down to pay the money now or else they would see me in court. He was rude and hung up when i told him that i will let my lawyer handle it.
