A recording calls and leaves half a message saying they can settle (whatever it is they do not say)out of court. They give the phone to call. I did not call back because I know it is a scam. I do not owe anything, and if I did, calling on the ohone is not the way to serve anything. They even called my old number and talked to my husbancd I divorced ten years ago. Do not give information out!

I really don't know what to say about this one other than it gave me a number to call, when I call it back it gives me a busy signal. I tried several times and get nothing. Then I called a bit ago and it said I had the wrong number-- I used the same number and just pushed redial. So, I don't know what this is. It gave me a case number and said I owed for two outstanding debts and that it was going to go to the court and my place of employment.
Michelle replied 4/22/15, 4:21 PMI just got the same call from the same number with the same story. Obvious scam. -

They said they were calling about failure to pay a online payday loan in 2008 from oakwood financial. They had bank info and when I asked for further info she refused and said have my attorney contact them. I did not take an online payday loan out.

I received an automated call and when I called back they said they had a case against from a loan online from February 2008 and could settle over the phone. when I called got a recording and couldn't leave a message. Everytime I tried to ask questions they got upset and hung up. they also didn't read the mini Miranda rights starting with this is an attempt to collect a debit. These people have me crazy.
