12/23/18 at 1:33 p.m. I asked "who do you want to speak to." And after a second some Indian guy said, My name is Jack and you....And of course, I knew this was a scam, but I told him I couldn't understand what he was saying and to not call this number again.

Mine came up GADS1. They wanted to remove a virus they were monitoring thru my web browser. She was very rude in trying to get me to play along so I gave her hell for 10 minutes and played along. THIS IS A SCAM. DO NOT LET ANYONE HAVE CONTROL OF YOUR COMPUTER LIKE THIS, THEY WILL ROB YOU BLIND.

Calls and says they work for Microsoft and they have been monitoring my PC for 3 weeks and it has a virus. I asked him for the IP of the PC they are monitoring and they got ugly and about how they are trying to help me, then he hung up.
This is illegal and a total scam -

Yeah, the morons called us again @ 10:35 am. Caller ID shows as GADS1 - whatever the heck it because these morons think they are so smart !!!! Picked up the phone but didn't say anything - after 10 secs morons hung up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We pay for our business line and we have to put up with this crap because it is so easy to spoof the #s the greedy phone cos sell to these morons. What a country we have become where stupidity is now the badge of honor ???????????????????????????

Isn't it funny all these dimwits, nitwits, nincompoops get a phone # and then don't talk but simply harass residence/business #s OR program their stupid #s to pretend it is a robo call or a fax machine !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are paying for our business line and, yet, we have to screen our calls, inconvience our customers or even lose a sale !!!!!!!!!!! Stupidity now is the badge of honor in the U.S. because of stupid laws passed by stupids in Congress who don't have any brain cells left under that thick skull to think except follow the instructions like a monkey from the greedy lobbyists who want to make sure the phone cos screw consumers time and time again.

With these call centers there is likely no chance of criminal prosecution but I wish the FCC would institute the practice of Civil Forfeiture whereby a Judge will render a Court Order and then agents will go and seize all of the methods these individuals utilize to attempt to and actually scam law abiding citizens. In other words seize every computer, every phone, and every stick of furniture and donate it all to citizens in need. All of that needs to happen with one exception. Computer Forensic Experts need to utilize the data on the computer hard drives to criminally prosecute the ring leaders if the situation warrants. I am tired of these calls and as I see it this is the proper route. Contact your closest "U.S. Attorney's Office" and advocate this along with contacting your Congressman. Focus on one and drive it into the ground until it works and then the others will realize they are not immune and will begin to squirm.
