August 20th - I received a call on my cell phone from phone number 408-531-6403 asking me about lowering my insurance and asking if I still lived in XYZ area code. I told him that I was not interested. End of call.
August 21st - I received a call on my cell phone from Unknown Number asking me about lowering my insurance and asking if I still lived in XYZ area code. I asked him what number he was calling from. He said he had no number. He continued with his telemarketing and I asked who he is with and he told me US Savings. I asked him again for his number and he said he was calling from Virginia from a community savings. I asked again for his number and he gave me 0428182156. When I asked him another question, he said "What the f@#k! and then said f@#k you ma'am and hung up. -

I get these calls all of the time from Auto Care claiming they can save me 35% and they call from different states. This has been going on for 1 year. Usually the people argue, they're rude even though I am not, and then they usually hang up on me after I'm begging to be taken off their list. I've started taking screen shots of my call log and the call so I can keep a record of the calls, the numbers, and how frequent they are. I've also started filing reports with the FCC and uploading the images so that there is proof.
Not sure how likely the calls are to stop, but I feel like if everyone does this the more likely the scammers are to be caught. At least one can hope!

I have received several calls from this number, all saying that car insurance rates have dropped by 35% lately and they are sure they can find me a better rate than I currently have. I am polite to the caller, and have even agreed to let them have car insurance companies call me with the "new" rates, but nobody can beat the rate that I have anyway. This last time, I explained this to the caller and told him that I really didn't want to waste his time or mine by going through this whole thing again. He kept assuring me that he wasn't trying to get me to switch car insurance (although that is exactly what he was telling me to do), and he would not take NO for an answer. I continued to be polite, and told him that I understood that this is his job and I am not at all angry with him for doing his job, and explained again that it would be a waste of both his time and mine to continue the call. When he STILL wouldn't quit, and told me again that I didn't understand that rates had recently dropped etc., I said (still calmly and politely), "Can you please understand that I have received this call several times, and I know from experience that no other companies can beat my current rate, so I do not care to continue this call," and he said to me, "Then f*ck off," and he hung up on me.

The people who are calling from this # are extremely rude and refuse to listen to anything that I say. I advised to please take me off of their list and became extremely aggressive and getting very belligerent. I advised that I wanted to speak to his supervisor and the guy straight tokd me to go f**k mysrlf and hung up. I have filed a complaint with the fcc in regards to this number.
