called out of blue after i was off driver app and somehow this women was calling from the lyft platform number and also said they have to verify my info because they have flagged over 150 drivers due to people using info and i was completely not complying because it was so skethcy and how did i even know it was lyft and then after she threaten to flag my account i gave my drivers liscene number and phone numver and well i just got over $400 stolen form mebecause they went straight to my debit card and chagned it and did express pay. i ahve blown up lyft so many times and just emailed so many times and called the mergency line s SOON AS I GOT OFF THE FIRST CALL and they still ahve not responded and its been over 6hours

On February 8th, 2 days after starting to drive for Lyft I simply got a text message from that number that number that said "Fuck u". it alarmed me because I never get texts like that. Once I did a search of the number online I found it must be revolving around Lyft somehow and reported it to Lyft via email. I haven't heard anything about it since.

I received several calls so I answered, it said a rider was trying to contact me, then another short message that an inmate from a county (didn't catch the county) jail was trying to contact me. A young man got on the line and asked for Ricky. I said you have a wrong number, I asked what number he was dialing he said it was a 971 number. Mines 503 area code. I said sorry and we hung up. I was called 7-10 more times during the day and was at work so I ignored them. Never asked me for personal info, but still fishy.

Scammer called me 8 TIMES in a row. Fake automated "Lyft passenger transfer" voice even though I haven't driven for Lyft in 6 months. Creepy guy on other line kept trying to get my personal information. I yelled at him to STOP CALLING ME.

Received a call starting today around 5am claiming a passenger is attempting to contact me. Once the message ends I am connected to a brief automated message in a foreign language. Called several times in the past few hours.
I then received a text with an access code from Talk2PH (of course you do not click this) it was paired with a facebook account kit request, which essentially allows the requesting app to access your facebook account information without a password.
The call itself and text clearly based out of the Philippines and is a scam.
I say block the number and dont look back. I do not believe this number is an active Lyft number. -

I used to be a Lyft driver (haven't driven in over a year), and I've received 5 calls in the last hour from this number, each time the call starts with an automated message that says "This is a Lyft Passenger", and then connects to a person asking to speak to someone not associated with Lyft.

I keep receiving calls from this number even though I have blocked it on my mobile. It has to be a hack caller because I receive the call every time I receive a call on my cell or am on another call. I have had this issue before - it was coming from bogus job recruiters from India - they had gotten my phone number off Monster.com claiming they were reaching me for a job - but they barely spoke english. They hacked my phone with their calls and I had to continually factory reset my phone to get them off my track. This call does say it is coming form Lyft. I'd be concerned if I were Lyft - they are giving your brand a bad name and most likely hacking the crap out of your system while doing so. REALLY tired of companies pretending they haven't gotten hacked when they obviously have. It is Lyft's responsibility to protect our privacy just like it is my banks responsibility to protect my money in their bank.

Called out of the blue an automative man voices saye "Lyft driver to customer" Then I said hello and a older womens scuff voice said hello who is this, I said my name and she said i dont know you dont ever call here again. But She called me and dhe thinks I called her. Very strange.

Fraudulent person called and said the driver in my car was using a stolen credit card and wanted to verify my information so I can get paid for the the ride. She asked for my verification code then change debit card information and cashed my account out stealing $149.00

Saw this number call me and left no message. I did not pick up and when researching I saw it is the number Lyft uses to hide driver and passenger numbers when they contact each other. I am a driver and have been offline for almost a week so no riders should be contacting me. I contacted Lyft and this is the response I received from them.
"Thanks for reporting this to us.
Please note: No one from Lyft will ever call you asking for you to provide your phone number or verification code. If you get a call soliciting this information, it's not us - and the best thing to do is hang up. While we may sometimes need to confirm your drivers license number, this is to be submitted via the portal or to a verified @lyft.com email address. We will not ask you to provide this over the phone.

They call you and get the PIN number from you and they will login to your Lyft account and change the debit card information then they will draft your money to their account. Please don't share your Lyft PIN number over the phone. They will say they are from Lyft and on a recorded line and stuff . Just trying to steal your money . Need to file a case in FBI or something .

Still suspicious of this number. These supposedly "Lyft interchange" number(s) would NOT call a Lyft driver out of the blue on his/her cell phone if the Lyft driver is NOT online! I'm a Lyft driver as well and I was NOT online!

this is nothing but a Lyft interchange number. It is we'll wait for drivers to contact passengers or passengers to contact the drivers without exchanging personal phone numbers. I know this since I am a Lyft driver
