This is a scam. They pose as Microsoft and attempt to trick you into going to a website to download dangerous malware. Reported to FTC and Core Communications Maryland. It's a DID exchange, so I don't believe they're phreaking / spoofing.

I have received these calls before. The phone number is (443) 344-0247 ID from Maryland. I received this call on May 29, 2014 at 12:35pm on my cell. They claim they are from Microsoft and that it is an urgent matter. If you ask them how they got your phone number, they will reply that your identity/information is connected with your computer. I know these facts to be BS because I was getting these calls when I didn't have a computer up and running or internet. LOL People are ridiculous!!!! Be carefull!!! Don't give any info out.

I just received a call from this number (3:10 pm). I said HELLO three times then received an automated "goodbye". I called the number back and was told the number is out of service. Not trustworthy. It is obvious the positive comments on here are left by the people making these calls. Do not answer!
