This guy calls and identified himself as IRS agent. He has a thick Indian accent and cannot pronounce "Internal Revenue Service." He blocked the caller-ID when he called. The transcript of his message follows: "This message is intended for Ed frio(?) ... this call is from the internal revenue service department at the-a(?) second you receive this message I need you all your retained attorney off record to return the call. The issue attend is extremely time sensitive. My name is Agent James Parker and hotline to my division is 1856331792. I repeat the number 5856331792. Now if you don't return the call but if I don't hear from you. I didn't(?) need it did. The only thing I can do is wish you a good luck as situation unfolds on you. Again this message is for XXX and this is Agent jim-barbara(?) calling you from the internal revenue service department. Is interest to get in department-i(?) yet have a nice day."

I got call from this number 3 times. Posed as IRS agent telling me I have tax return problems. 1st time his name was Kevin Johnson, 2nd time his name was Alfredo Thomas,he even give me his IRS ID#1022301. He told me I will be arrested in 45 mins. if I don't resolved this issue right now. I called the real IRS and the police, they both confirmed this is a scam.Don't even answer the call.

Kept getting calls from an lady with a heavy accent that resembles an Indian lady. Her speech is very difficulty to understand She has always been leaving messages saying "Hello?!?!? Hello?!?!?". She finally left a message today stating she is calling from the IRS and that I would have to call her back at 585-633-1792 about time sensitive material regarding my tax income or else she would file a case against me to the police. All of this sounded really fishy and a scam. I googled the number she gave and this page came up. BEWARE! Block this number so you don't have to deal with these annoying scammers.

Got a call from "IRS" Investigation Unit in New York, claiming theywill have me arrested ifI or my lawyer does not call them back to solve my Tax issue. The caller with a strange accent (difficult to understand) claimed to be agent Parker from IRS. I called back several time at the given number 585-633-1792. The phone did not respond until the last call, a certain Kevin (the manager) explained to me "what was my problem". After questioning him several times, he said that he is calling the local police right away and I will be imprisoned for at least 5 years for the "crime".
I called my lawyer..... Smells like a SCAM, because IRS will never make call to taxpayer's home.They might send you letter. -

I too have received a call placed 8:20 am in the morning, requesting that I call the phone number: 585-633-1792, and talk to an IRS agent by the name of Kevin Johnson. This is obviously a scam, as I'm not even a U.S. Tax person.

Owed penalty and fees. They said a package was sent to my door which I did not receive, so they would call to have me arrested in 45 minutes. -

an asian accent called saying that the IRS found an issue with my account and i need to call this number for details and talk to the officer there ...i did....long story short and after harrasing me that they will arrest me in 45 minutes if i didnt solve the issue.....my friend came as an angel and told me not to trust them, i closed the phone, tryed to call them again and line is not working.....the net showed me that they did it to orthers through this exact number.....its fraud....thank you

IRS SCAM!!! woman with a heavy what sounds like Haitian accent and an overly American-sounding name called telling me that if I didn't pay my taxes (??) in an hour, I'd be under arrest. Hello?! Asked why they were calling from a different state and hung up while they were still stammering.

Said threats like we could lose our license or be arrested, and it was imparative to return the call ... it was a long message, but this was the gist of it. We know it is a scam, hoax, ect ... I thought it was odd that at the end of the call, the automated computer generated voice told us to "take care". I hope the REAL IRS finds these people and turns them every which way but lose!
