Total scammer, so obvious. I laughed at her and hung up. I feel bad for those who stay on the line and don't know better. Do not give them any info!
Gloria replied 8/6/18, 3:37 PMSame here, I don't even have a computer! I told him that and he hung up when I told him he's a scam. Ridiculous -

Caller with thick accent claimed to be calling from B.C. Solutions in Florida regarding ransomeware that has been downloading to my computer over the last week and infecting all my Microsoft programs.
I have a Mac. I run no Microsoft programs at all. I told him I knew this was a scam and he promptly hung up. -

I was scammed out of $700 by
Search Soft, Inc, Donald J. Hjelm, of 15656 Lemon Fish Drive, Bradenton, FL. He and his Indian employee pretended to be Google. Used gift cards. He is now driving around in a brand new Cadillac. Filed complaints with state troopers and FBI (get form on their website) and reported him to BBB. See BBB's site for 3 complaints so far about being scammed out of money. Sent Mr. Hjelm some emails this morning and sure enough as he usually does, the Indian fellow starts calling with all of these different numbers, this number being one of them and anonymous also. -

Called my place of work, where I am a receptionist. He had a very thick accent. Asked to speak to the manager or business owner. I told him they were out of the office for the day and that he could leave a voicemail. He proceeded to yell at me that a technician was on the way to shut our power off.

Claims to be from IRS and that I am under investigation for fraud and will be arrested if I don't return his call. It was a recorded message. I didn't call back, and the call keeps coming. Also hearing same exact call (recorded message) from 773-887-9224, 866-978-5672 and 646-809-5460. All scams.

Caller had heavy accent. Claimed that something was wrong with my computer and that he was tech support. I then preceeded to give him the run around that he was originially intending to give me about a false tech issue. Needless to say he hung up. Fun times when you can dish it right back to them!

Caller had a heavy South Asian accent and claimed to be calling from Tech Support because there was something wrong with my computer. I googled number, says it was a scam. So I flipped the table on him, and started talking about porn. Two minutes later, he said wrong number, and got an apology.

Caller sounded possibly Indian, there was a lot of people chattering in the background. He claimed there was something wrong with my computer. I asked if he even knew my name, he paused and replied "No maam I do not." So I told him I'm hanging up now goodbye. Hoping my grandparents don't fall for this obvious scam (as I recall they trick you into letting them log into your computer remotely and steal EVERYTHING).
