Express Update - woman called and asked if she had our business name right (she did but...)...I asked why and she said she's updating records. I said "NO" and hung up on her.
"Companies" like this are most likely looking for your information to sell to other scam companies...they have all your info and know it's correct if you go along with the barrage of questions. -

Woman called and immediately started asking questions about the company without introducing herself. At first she confirmed the name and our address (she had the info, I confirmed it was accurate), but then started asking about the owner. I questioned where she was calling from and she said Express Update. She started asking for names of the agents (we're an insurance agency) and how many people work in the office, etc. I just said she can get that info publicly on our website if she absolutely needs it and hung up.

They've called a minimum of three times -- even though they were asked during the first call to leave us alone and never call again. Why would they think we'd do business with anyone who keeps calling after being told we don't WANT to do business with them????

Person calling in a very unprofessional manner, starting asking questions about my registered domain and address without introducing herself or saying at least what company they represented. I found it very suspicions, and the call has all the characteristics of phishing. I recommend to ask them exactly who they are before giving them any answer, otherwise just hang up.
