Suspicious reported number +18008292253 as Spectrum
866-390-4096 called and they claimed they were from Spectrum (Time Warner), told they could give me a better deal than what I'm paying and please hold to talk to someone else, and immediately transferred me, without waiting for me to say anything. The next person who got on the phone, was so overly bubbly that it was suspicious. Then she asked me for my information. I told her, look, I didn't call you, you called me, and I don't know who you are. IF I am interested I will call in. They gave me a phone number, 800-829-2253, which didn't match the Time Warner numbers I have. May or may not be legit, but I don't give out any information to anyone unless I call them, period. Just beware. And it was NOT a collection call, because I am never behind in any of my bills.
