I was called by this company, at least they claimed to be this company, and was informed that there are criminal charges of bank fraud against me for defaulting on a payday loan. And she had the task to arrange the payment arrangements. I could pay 1/3 at once and avoid that they would initiate further arrangements in the charges against me. I listened to all of this and when I asked her further questions and also demanded that she should send me all the necessary documents, she always dodged the topic. I, for once, know about the regulations and laws concerning this topic and this company breaks a few of them, by calling me and demanding what she did. research your rights under the FDCPA
