Yet another number trying to carry out the miocrosoft scam. They called telling me my cvomputer had several problems they would help me sort out including being infected by a virus. I know that Microsoft dont call out of the blue offering technical help,I think its a scam.

I have received numerous calls from these folks who claim to be with Microsoft calling to fix my computer remotely. Funny, I work on a Linux machine. As soon as I tell them this, they hang up. THey did, however, talk a colleague into allowing them to connect and highjack his PC demanding ransom to unencrypt the files they took over.
