I got a friend request on Facebook from a page that I "Liked"- Full Size Chevy Trucks
Few days later I made a comment on a post that they made. 20 minutes later i got a friend request from them. Another 20 minutes or so and they messaged me on Facebook. Talk about chevy trucks for a few minutes and then he asked what would I say if he told me I had won a new Chevy Truck. Then he gave me the details to claim it. Didnt ask for SSN so I thought it seemed safe. Then it started getting better. I also won a million dollars a year for life from Chevy. Sent pictures of the truck in the Chevy showroom and claimed they would deliver everything the next day. Wanted me to call a number to register. This was the number he gave. Then he started talking about sending $500 by Western Union or Green Dot to cover taxes on a certain portion of the prize. Called me on my phone through facebook as a facebook Call.He wanted me to do the transaction but told him there was not enough time for me to get there before they closed so he agreed to first thing in the morning. I FORCED this by lying about them closing soon since Walgreens is open 24 hours. That fact alone threw up a red flag but it gave me time to research before doing anything stupid. A quick search on Google and here I am. Scumbags these scammers are.
