Called with threats of potential legal action about overdue payments. Unable to provide any information about the debt. Since I'm currently debt free, and since phone calls are not an acceptable form of legal notification, this is obviously a scam.

A man told me he is a police investigator and I must pay my loan.
I know what I have to pay. As for me, it's just a scam. -

Called me an initially friendly woman on behalf of Bayside. I had probably had a few digits in payments or so and that's why the money did not arrive. Because of this circumstance could have big consequences for me, she wanted to clear up the matter and I should transfer the money (totaling $ 3400) as soon as possible. Since I pay at anybody rate and the company also do not know. I have launched with the words "Aha yes and you can sleep peacefully at night, when you tell such lies?". I of course immediately disabled the number.

Called me from a local number and then gave me the 1-877-318-0965 number to call back in a message. Had my phone number even though the phone number is new and not listed in my name, was calling saying that my ex husband had put me down as a reference for a bank loan and "that is a very serious matter". Couldn't explain to me how my information got tied into thier "investigation" Caller is very rude and not helpful at all. I asked to have all my information removed from this case and he said he would do so. Unsure of the point of the conversation.
