Investigator Tammy reported Grandma Scam with the number 8888912113 as Harassment calls
An elderly family friend recently received a call from this number. The person said he was her grandson, that he got arrested in Mexico and that he needed some money to get bailed out of jail. He also said that she should transfer the money via Western Union. Since she didn't know how to, so she asked my parents who then grew suspicious and urged her to call her daughter - turns out, it was a total scam and the grandson was nowhere near Mexico! I just can't believe how sick some people can be!
