Yes, I too have gotten calls from this # Stating that they were from Microsoft Tech Department. I don't think so Lucy, as I have found out from Microsoft is that they will lock down your computer & you need to call them to get it released again. They will only release it again after they have located the problem & fixed The scary thing is they are now blocking their number so it no comes up on caller ID But they all claim to be from Microsoft be it a man or a woman they all have the same accent.

Says he needs my bank card number to refund what I paid two months ago. He tells me I do have a PC computer even though we are a house of Apple computers. He says " No its a PC NOT a MAC. calls 3-4 times a day

It is 10:30 p.m. and I was asleep after a long hard day. Then this stupid nincompoop called. I tried to call back and it was a recorded message about some type of telephone thing I could call. I am going to report this.
