I got a call a few days ago for this same "windows" situation. The first time they told me they were calling from "Windows" and my computer security had been breached. I needed to log on to my computer immediately to secure it. I asked where this "company" is located and the reply was Austin, Texas. I asked the name of the company and was told I was was not authorized to have that information. I asked where they got the phone number they called me on and the reply was "the internet". I asked for the company's phone number so I could call them back as I was not close to my computer. The woman told me that I need to follow her directions, she was in charge of security, and I should speak to her with respect because she was not my servant. Finally she hung up on me. The call I received today, started out with the same line: "I am with windows security..." I started laughing and the man asked me why I was laughing, I told him I just had a call like this a few days ago. He immediately terminated the call.
