I received the same call on April 9, 2025 from Aurora Wood about a Cost Recovery Credit from my electric provider. The caller ID was 610-244-1507 (Collegeville, PA). She said to call 610-817-1811 reference number 11170. They bait you by saying there is a $200 credit on your electric bill and in order to claim it you need to say your name and your PECO electric choice ID number (found in the top right corner of page 2 of your PECO bill) on a recorded line. It is a SCAM. As soon as the recording begins, a digital voice says “I agree to switch my electric utility provider to Pure Energy”. Then the digital voice says “say your first and last name and your electric choice ID number from your PECO bill”. Don’t do it.

I received this SPAM call from phone 610-244-1524 (Collegeville, PA) on 03/19/2025 which is about my Cost Recovery Credit Reference 11170 and to call back (610)817-1811. This is the same female voice who called me up from (610)244-1505 (Collegeville, PA) on 03/11/2025 which is about my Cost Recovery Credit Reference 33188. I am not a fool to fall for this SPAM / SCAM call and I have saved the recordings of the calls provided by my Phone company. Beware of these number.
