    Scam calls, pretending to be from Amazon Prime but they’re not. Three today, all from 00131 but different numbers after that

    They SMS'd my wife's number saying they wanted to credit us $399.99 for an App download error of her Amazon Prime Subscription, affecting 4 months of fees. Was told to call this, 8333280222 , naturally i did. She had passed away only last week and I didn't know she even had an Amazon Prime account. They tried to continue with the scam even when they had been told she had just died, and wanted me to log into my computer when I said I wanted to cancel her account, quite possibly to gain control of that. But as I had done so, my nephew arrived, and intervened, helping me snuff out the situation.

    Rang my mum claiming to be Amazon Prime and telling her they've deducted £79.99 from her bank account. Mum has no Amazon Prime account and also no Internet. I have both and order on her behalf.
    Checked the number here and it's obviously a scam call
