   I received a call from this number multiple times during the weekend and I definitely did NOT arrange anything with Virgin Media. So for me, this is a bogus call.

    Booked Virgin for visit, then I had to cancel on automatic site. This telephone call followed about an hour later si I ASSUME it was genuine to confirm the cancellation.
    03 numbers are same as normal calls (free on my Virgin Plan) or free fone.
    Ignore the scare mongers on here.

    According to several other sites, this number claims to be from Virgin Media, to confirm arrangements for an engineer visit. Many recipients are not virgin customers, so this would appear to be a scam. In addition, one recipient claims to have spoken to Virgin Media on this issue and received confirmation that this is a bogus number.
