Bell Aliant calling at least daily to be annoying and not stopping when told to and informed of a DNCL registry for my number.
I do no business with them. After they took over the local phone company here many years ago they messed with my mother WAY too much for me to ever consider doing so.
Unlike previously stated I'm pretty sure it is a real number for Bell Aliant. Their official Facebook account has responded to people complaining about it and not once did they mention it being a scam number. I can't imagine why they wouldn't if it were. -

Calls at 3pm, 5pm and 7pm daily after the first pick up. The call is silent, once picked up. If you wait around long enough it will connect to someone claiming to be with bell who then tries to sell a promotion / tells you you’re late on a bill payment even if you know you aren’t. I’m assuming it’s not actually Bell. If you do pick up the call, don’t say anything and mute your microphone so the service logs your number as a dead line. You’ll stop getting the calls for a few months.

When I answer the phone for this number which calls daily, there is no one on the other line.
This is the mark of an auto-dialler that puts you on hold until an agent can speak to you.
Bell Aliant does not do this, therefore it must be a scammer which is spoofing a real Bell Aliant number. -
