This is some sort of scam. I'm not sure what type but definitely not trustworthy. The two people i spoke with had heavy accents and the woman told me she was Hawaiian and the man told me he was born in the United States! No way. I then asked if he was here in the States and he said D.C. I live in Houston and we just got hit with Hurricane Harvey so I asked him what natural disaster just hit Texas and he didn't know. Mostly though, if the government is EVER going to send you legitimate money, it will be in a government check! The other numbers I found related to this number is 202-670-1471 and 206-451-5885. Please don't let these people waste your time.

Foreign accent calling and telling me the typical I've been selected to get a free gov't grant...blah blah blah. Total scam. Wish they would lose my number. I block a number from these jerks one day and they call the next day with a new number.

looked this up and apparently it's scammers using d.c. and Washington area codes to fool people. my advice is don't answer .
