This number called me trying to phish for information by telling me I had been selected for a $50,000 grant and would have to pay $300 to process the payment and that the payment could be made via credit card or green dot. i wouldnt give my credit card details or make a green dot payment to someone I dont know. So I said they can deduct the payment from my allocated grant (knowing it was a scam) he carried on arguing that the money was only accesible upon making the payment. I thanked him for wasting his and my time and hung up. I have now blocked the number and will not be receiving anymore calls from this scammer I hope.

Dude, I have heard of grant scams of up to $7000-$10,000, but I have never heard of a $50,000 grant scam. I would have just laughed in their face. That is ridiculous.
