LB reported number 2029217300 as Tara Lunsford (agent id 2451)
I recieved the same exact phone call. I called my student loan company and they recommended I call Navient. So I called them and they said there is not such lawsuit. So it is definetely a scam. They asked for my birth date and user name right away. I wouldn't give it to them.

Hi this is Tara Lunsford. Agent id is 2541. I'm following back up with you regarding the recent navia(?) lawsuit filing your student loan has been accepted into the settlement which now entitles you to receive loan forgiveness on all future payments. What's great about this is the settlement offer applies to all loan statuses including if your loans are in default. It's suggested you call today to have this activated before expiration. The settlement line is 202-921-7300. Make sure to supply your personal eligibility validation number 112019 when calling in hope this helps and have a nice day.

Hatrix reported Same imposter bot Carolyn with the number 2029217300 as Aggressive advertising
Shenanigans with original call # was (262) 234-8578. All other information on the voicemail was identical to the Carolyn bot mentioned numerous times. Claiming to help represent you with that Navient student loan payment/lawsuit nonsense.

Same as everyone else. Same personal ID number. Just like another started, my phone kicked this call to voicemail immediately. I didn't even show a missed call in my log. Obvi a scam. Why don't these people go get a legit job like the rest of us?

Investigator Rhonda Wilson reported Caroline (Agent: 24851) with the number 2029217300 as Aggressive advertising
The Caller "Caroline (Agent: 24851) left a voice message saying she was following back up with me regarding the recent lawsuit filling. Informing me my student loan has been excepted into the settlement which now entitles me to recieve loan forgiveness on all my future payments. The agent goes on to explain what is great about this is the settlement offer applies to all loan statuses including if my loans are in default. She suggests I call today to have them activated before expiration, she provides a settlement phine line at (202-921-7300). Then the caller proves a personal eligibility validation number (112019) when calling. I personally think this is a SCAM, so I did not call back, I deleted the voicemail message instead. I get quite a few of these type calls, so I just ignor them.

Lepay reported Imposters scam with the number +12029217300 as Aggressive advertising
A woman picked up and did not introduce herself, when requested for name and agent number she said, "Why do you need all of that information sir?" Very defensive and dismissive. When I told her someone left me a voicemail and agent ID # she said, "Oh yeah! Caroline did. My name is Elize." I didn't give her my real name and so she hung up on me. Somehow these ppl get ahold of your phone number and full name then bots call with generic voice message "Caroline agent ID 24851 regarding Navient loan."
When I called back they must have blocked my number because it went right to an automated message saying sorry no agent available and then hung up. -
The number 2029217300 has been assigned to Caroline
I didn't get a call from Tara, but I did get one from Caroline (Agent ID 24851). Phone auto blocked the original number (518-752-6919) and sent it to vm. I have the same validation number (112019)... soooo... I guess I am still in debt.
NCnative67 replied 2/13/20, 1:21 PMMy phone blocked the original number too, but after my voice mail said "you have a call from" I heard a person 'sigh' (emit a long, deep, audible breath expressing sadness, relief, tiredness, or a similar feeling. Maybe Ill call back and ask for 'sigh'. -

Investigator JP reported Tara Lunsford (agent id 2451) with the number 2029217300 as Aggressive advertising
As others have stated, I received a VM from Tara about my Navient student loan forgiveness but it also mentions all loan types. However, when you call the 202 number, it says only for federal student loans with a balance over $7500 which is contrary to the VM. I was put on endless hold and gave up because it is obviously a scam.

This number was one that an app I use identified as untrustworthy and immediately pushed to voicemail. The message was from a fake sounding woman about my student loan and some lawsuit.
