   Got a call today from a computer voice looking for "employee firstname lastname" that is not an employee, and a deceased person. Hung up and requested blocking from our provider.

   I work at a University and our sweet switchboard lady has been getting calls from this number among others and it's been happening for at least 2 weeks. They have asked for people who are gone, never here, but also people who do work here. We transferred a couple calls to a coworker who pretended to be who they were looking for and as soon as he said "yes" they hung up. Then the next call he demanded to talk to their supervisor and even when he was passed on to someone else and demanded to know why they were calling, they would hang up. We've even transferred them to the campus police and yet they still keep calling. They get mad if you hang up on them, so they call back with it displayed as the same number calling 10+ at once and if we answered they would play hold music in return. This group acts like a 2-yr old throwing a tantrum when they don't get what they want. They have at least 10 different numbers that we have associated to them. It's better not to answer at all if you can avoid it.

   Call from "Dave Alexander" from "Fitness Planet". Said he was located in Texas. He wanted to speak with Bill Glenn. When I informed him that there is no Bill Glenn here, he proceeded to ask all kinds of random questions. I have received dozens of calls from this number, and have received hundreds more of the same ilk but with different numbers.

   Same here calls the office asked for a person who works here and when you say yes its you they hang up Has happened a couple of times. Same accent as all the reports above.

    Has called our office every few days for a couple of weeks now, asking for various different people and wanting to know what company he has dialed. Has an strong accent and lots of noise in the background. Refuses to believe that who ever he has called for does not work here, and demands to be transferred to them. Really interested in finding out where the number he dialed is going to if not to his supposed contact. Has called some of my coworkers and the receptionist as well.

    Male voice with foreign accent and a call center chatter in the background continues to call. Will not identify himself but insists on confirming the name of the person answering the call. Has called once a day for three consecutive days. I will not identify myself and I hung-up after telling him not to call this number again. He just insists on me providing a name.

    GUY CALLED ASKING FOR "KELLY" WHO DOES NOT WORK IN OUR OFFICE. HE ASKED IF HE HAD REACHED THE RIGHT PLACE OF BUSINESS AND I CONFIRMED THAT HE DID. THEN HE ASKED AGAIN IF "KELLY" WAS HERE. I TOLD HIM "NO, WE DO NOT KNOW A KELLY SIR" AND HE RUDELY HUNG UP ON ME.

    This douchebag called our company number claiming to be from UPS/United Parcel Service (yes, he stated both) regarding a package delivery under the name of my employer. He said his name was Mike and he had a very strong East Indian accent, difficult to understand. I am required to get as much information as possible from a caller in order to announce the call so the recipient can be prepared. When I pressed for details he became irate and verbally abusive, refused to give me more detail, repeated the same information and yelled questions like “Why are you asking all these questions. Are you going to let me talk to him or not?!” I informed him that I would not be letting him talk to anyone because he is not going to speak to any of us in that manner and I promptly hung up. I’m 99% sure it was some kind of scam. The caller id read: District of Columbia 202-967-2676.

    Same here! Guy refuses to answer questions, and keeps calling for people not in the office I work in. When I try to get more information about him and where/why he's calling he hangs up. He's been calling from 2 different numbers 10-15 times a day for almost 3 weeks!!!

    It's unbelieveable how many people have been affected by this harrasing phone caller. He has been calling here for about 3-4 weeks, 10-15 times a day, different phone numbers. He asks for people that don't even work here and insist that they do. He even ask if I've checked my national directory. There should be a way to stop this. I work a very busy swithboard, and I don't have time for his stupid game!
