They call saying they can get you a lower interest rate on your credit card and then try to get you to tell them your card number. They try to make it sound legit by telling you that they can pull it up and tell you your balance and last payment amount because "only the right party can get that information". They said that I was paying over 10% on my card but then asked which card I had and the exp and then the number. I'm paying 0% and when I gave them bogus numbers they kept going. Just hang up or ask to be taken off the list.
