this number keeps calling my home and cell number. I am on the do not call list for both numbers. I block the number, but they keep on calling and hang up when my voice mail comes on.

Do not answer this call! It is just another in the long list of robo call scams. They did leave a message about some bogus pain pain offer to me through my healthcare insurance. Don't respond to the message either. Don't waste your time filing a complaint with the FCC. The spoofed numbers being used for Caller ID change daily. The FCC is basically doing NOTHING to stop this harrassment anyway. We need to start hounding our representatives with complaints until they start addressing this on-going crap!!

I am thinking that since the national Do Not Call database does not work, maybe there is a commercial solution...
Some sort of service where we report the numbers (like here) and a blocking service that automates the process of blocking calls from these numbers.
Easier to do on smart phones and web phone services, but lots of the newer landline phones are getting smart too...
This would work similar to the email spam filters that today day seem to do a reasonable job of blocking 95% to 99% of unwanted email and shunt it to a spam folder that can be automatically deleted without ever being opened.

Same comments as everyone else here. WIsconsin recently dumped their own do not call list and went to the Federal one -- for all the good that does.

They use their various agencies to locate and punish their political enemies but could care less about us.
If you can use No Mo Robo as it really cuts down on not only these scammers but on political calls (our dishonest politicians carved out an exemption for themselves) -

First off the number is spoofed. Second, when I asked for a proper number they refused to give me one all they kept doing was asking for my card number for the $34.95 monitoring fee. Then they had the gall to tell me my alert system was monitored by EMT's. having been in EMS for more years than anyone would care to admit, I can assure you EMT's do not monitor these systems.

managed to break past my no solicitation message recording on my phone. As I block area codes for Medic Alert calls, they continue using a different area code. Desperate to obtain credit card information for their illegal purpose.

Scam, guy named Roberto ORtiz seeking to steal Credit Card numbers from unaware Senior Citizens. Caller claims to need Credit Card number in order to ship a product that was never ordered,The DNC system is imperfect. It does work to stop law-abiding telemarketers and occasionally there have been some prosecutions. Shame on them.

Robo caller who said my insurance company had authorized a shipment of pain relief medication (I did not order any medication). I could press 1 to confirm my delivery, or press 5 to notify my insurance company that I refused the shipment. All a scam.
