I got the same e-mail today. If you do receive this "check", call the issuing bank to see if it is real. They want you to deposit it, send them part of it,then when the check comes back bogus, you're on the hook for the whoe amount. If it is a postal money order, TAKE IT TO THE POST OFFICE FOR VERIFICATION.
