   Called stating they would reduce my student loan debt. They ask for personal information to get into your FSA account and lock you out. Total scam. Do not answer this number, block it!

   Called and left me many voicemails about forgiving my student debt. Because they sounded nice and were calling from Washington I thought it was legit for a second. Not for long.
   I called back and talked to someone who asked me questions to see if I could qualify. Basic questions like how is my debt effecting my life? How many people do I live with? After this they say, “ok now I’ll look you up on the department of education to see what types of loans you have to see if you qualify to get you into a loan forgiveness program” HERES THE CRAZY PART. They ask for my email and date of birth.. then he says “ok I just sent over a six digit code to your email can you read it to me”
   
   THE EMAIL IS FROM THE FAFSA LOGIN PASSWORD CHANGE FOR STUDENT AID. THEY ARE TRYING TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD, LOCK YOU OUT, AND THEYLL HAVE ACCESS TO ALL OF YOUR FINANCIAL INFO SINCE YOU USE THIS TO GET FAFSA. They will have access to your social security number, your parents, and your tax info. DO NOT READ THEM THE SIX DIGIT CODE.
   
   Currently calling them as different people to waste their time. Going to report them to FAFSA

   In the past 2 months, the same lady has called 3 times with 3 different numbers, claiming that my student loans can be paid off. I don't have student loans. I'm not out of high school yet. Don't plan on going to college immediately after high school. She gave me a 6 digit code to use when I call.

   Received vm about code and when I called they had a code sent to my cell and asked for the FSA ID code. I have it to them and the system required my email code and I couldn’t retrieve it while on the phone. So I asked if they were with FSA, he said no and I asked what the program does to help alleviate debts. He said he could not tell me until I gave him my info to see if I had been taken advantage of. I asked well why can’t you tell me how you can help? He said he would hate to tell me and not be able to help. He hung up after that explanation.

   Caller from undisclosed “Student Loan” department left VM, probably a recording, with number to call back and a 6 digit code. The VM lies about how they can help you with student debt, but all they really want is your info to scam you.

   says they can forgive student loans. Gave me a 6 digit code and a number to call which was this one. I called and spoke to Lilly. But when asked what the company was she refused to tell me and hung up. So I had my mother call from her phone. She did. it was the same lady and this time gave her the 6 digit code. When mom asked what the company was, she said she was with UBS. it's a scam.

    Caller left VM stating due to a lawsuit the federal government's budgeted money for student-loan forgiveness. Claimed they could get up to 100% of my student loan forgiven (which is a lie - I already checked). Never called back.
