Bright lights indeed; Pot, meet Kettle. A computer selects the numbers from a massive database. Your number can be in that database just because you bought something online, dimwit. Don't try to be a smartypants on a message board when you're clearly so unqualified for it.

This caller is such a pest, the constant calls was driving me nuts. Then I came across a blog comment that said they called 866-246-7196 for a do not call request. Be sure to give the caller's and receiving phone numbers. They verified this one is on their list they provide this service for so they added the receiving phone number to the list and after their 1-2 business days processing time the calls did in fact stop, whew.

My caller ID read unknown number, so I did not answer. I do not answer if I do not know who it is. They left no message so either telemarketer or collection agency. we have Unlisted # so figure it has to be one or the other.

Said I had won a free security system and they were not selling anything. Yea right. How do they stay in business by not selling and giving their product away. This is a scam. Tried to call the number back but got message saying the call could not be accepted. If this is a legitimate company, why do they not accept calls, and why do they not give the name of their business?

Lain replied 12/25/14, 1:37 PMI got a call from this number to a number I have thats EXTREMELY private. A day or two before this call my friend put me down as a reference for his car payments. If I had to guess, the car/loan places are selling your references that you write down to telemarketers for some extra $$$$$$. Since no one else period has the number period and in the 6 months Ive had It ive only had 3 phone calls period ever, I'm guessing they sell your references.JOHN replied 12/29/14, 7:47 PMI RECEIVED A CALL FROM 240-3245-6319 AS WELL AS 804-642-8078, & 330-433-5979 ALL TO MY NUMBER. which IS SO PRIVATE ONLY TWO PEOPLE HAVE THE NUMBER, ME AND MY PREPAID PHONE COMPANY. iJUST ACTIVATED THE PHONE LESS THEN 24 HR AGO AND HAVE NOT GIVEN D NUMBER TO ANYONE NOR HAVE I SENT A TEXT FROM THE PHONE. iT STILL HAS THE SAME AMONUT OF MINUTES AND DOLLARS AS YESTERDAY. MY PREPAID PHONE SERVICES MUST BE THE ONES WHO ARE SELLING NUMBERS.
