Called 12/26 said he was David Mike from Direct TV and ATT. Provide a call back number and said they were remotely upgrading my Satellite Receiver. Asked me to verify account info and bill so they could save me money.
WADAL replied 3/12/20, 10:48 AMSAME KIND OF CALL WITH SAME INFO. WAS TO SEND A CHECK OR MONEY ORDER TO A PO BOX TO "DIRECT UPGRADE" AND THAT I WOULD GET IT BACK IN 8 MONTHS BY CHECK. I KNEW AT&T DIDNT DO BUSINESS THIS WAY. CALLED INTO AT&T AND VERIFIED THAT IT WAS NOT THEM. THE STARTED AN INVESTIGATION AND SAID THEY HAD RECEIVED SEVERAL CALLS THE DAY BEFORE ABOUT THIS SAME THING. DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION TO THE CALLER. -

Called claiming to be from Dish Network, upgrading my satellite location. They then asked for a check for $198 mailed to PO Box 404 in Portage MI. I chatted on line with Dish and was told it was a scam. They wouldn't ask for money that way.
