First of all it was from a 6 digit # !!
I don't know how that works but I see it is becoming more popular? The # was 999962. First day I did not answer - no message. Second day I answered and it was somebody named Michael (accent was India) saying that there was a problem with my computer and a virus!!

They just called my google voice number that is only used for business. I do not give this number out except to direct manufacturers/wholesalers with whom I have a good relationship with. These numbers are 213/818/714/949 numbers not a 331. I've never given this number out to anyone over the internet or by email. It's always been face to face with another person. So how did they get my number?

they called my cell- I called back from my work phone, woman asked if they had tried to call me and for my name, I said yes and gave my 1st name, she then said this is insurance rate lab and the call is being recorded for quality assurance, then the line went dead

These people go by the name of "Insurance Rate Lab." Get multiple calls from them. I looked them up and I can't find any website by that name. Called back and got a "Goodbye" and the call dropped. I answered the call. I asked for the person's name, he said Keith "Shmulzer" (phonetic). They have my address, date of birth, phone number from supposedly having filled out a form through their website. When I said I had to get back to work they hung up. I called back and a girl answered, said my name, laughed, and hung up on me. I called back. Another girl answered. Her name was Jessica. She was more professional. I told her to add me to the "do not call list" and she said she would do that right away. We'll see if they call again.
