They called and said they were sending the local police along with an officer from the US Department of the treasury.
Phone # was from New York 347-632-1846JBW replied 7/15/15, 2:41 PMI too just received this call. I hung up and they called back twice, Very harassing. I feel sorry for anyone that is not aware that these things are happening.Lisa replied 7/17/15, 3:42 PMIf they call back, tell them you know they are scam artists and that you are reporting them to the authorities. DON'T TAKE THIS CRAP LYING DOWN, PEOPLE! The US Treasury Dept. (AKA IRS) would NEVER call you! They would send you a certified notification via snail mail!!!!

They called me saying they were from the Legal Affairs Dept. of the U.S. Treasury and that I had been named to a legal action. I told them I knew this was a scam, that I had their phone number and that I would report them to the Authorities. They promptly hung up. DON'T BE FOOLED!!! THESE ARE SCAM ARTISTS PREYING UPON PEOPLE'S IGNORANCE! TELL THEM YOU'RE ONTO THEIR GAME AND THAT YOU WILL REPORT THEIR ASSES!
