GOD! This Indian douche bag telemarketer calls me every single freaking day! If I block the number, he calls me from another one!! So today I got fed up with it, and kept calling them back restricted (near 50 times) and would just mute the phone and he would sit there just saying my name over and over again. He even drug it out. At this point, he was getting irritated with me and would go, "Oh my God!" before hanging up and then start talking in his language. At about the 40th call, I started responding to his jibberish by telling him how retarded it is that he keeps calling me, and to stop doing so. He then spoke his language again, so I replied in a mocking way and just made ridiculous noises to imitate him. He then came back and mocked me mocking him! Either that, or he was putting an Indian curse on me or something. I kind of cussed at him, then hung up because he would not shut up. I called back again, and he didn't take my call, and I was transferred to someone else. After two more calls, I was back to the original guy. I told him to stop calling me, and called him a bad name.

These calls started after someone hacked into a website, grabbed my credit card information and purchased over $200 in Red Pocket Mobile refill cards for 4 telephones. After I called Red Mobile (who I never heard of), they cancelled the telephone numbers and issued me a refund for the fraudulent charges. Less than a week later, I'm getting these telephone calls stating that I applied for a loan. I never applied for a loan and I have blocked all of the telephone numbers coming into my phone. The next one that calls me, I'm just going to answer, "FBI...how can I direct your call?". Let's see what these idiots from India do then. Also...about a year ago, I actually asked one of them why they scam people. His reply was, "Because Americans are stupid!".

They don't give a company name and every time I ask to be removed, they keep calling back. I've blocked the # numerous times, but they always manage to call from a different #. Whoever they are, they are extremely rude! It doesn't matter if you tell them you haven't applied for anything, they still continue to call.

Called me hundreds of times I called back 50 times asking to be taken off there list. They are calling every 10 minutes. Filed a complaint here and everyone needs to do this only takes 5 minutes.

I thankfully have call blocking. So, I simply block all these calls. However, when I look at my blocked calls list, before deleting the numbers, I see that they have actually called multiple times per day, daily, for several weeks, since the time they first started calling. But, like I said, they're number is blocked in my phone, so they're calls don't bother me, because I never even know they've called until I'm ready to DELETE my entire list of ALL SPAM & SCAM callers from my BLOCKED NUMBERS LIST!! Oh, Sweet Peace!! I LOVE CALL BLOCKING!!

This number calls my phone multiple times a day telling me I was approved for am auto loan. One time they even called and when I told them to stop they called me a m****r f****r. Well I was not so nice after that then he repeated my social and told me he was going to withdraw funds from my account. Well my bank was made aware and they said this was not the first they heard about this. I reported them to the FTC hope that helps out some to stop them. For now every time they call I answer congratulations you have been approved for a new camel loan. They hang up

I hope this guy gets blown up by a car bomb. Ok, the same guy calls 5 times a day saying you have been approved for a loan and to go to his website. Its the most obvious scam ever the website asks for basically nothing but for you to type in your bank account or routing number and sign a form allowing electronic fund transfers. After 10,000 calls from the same guy being a complete jerk I told him that George Bush is going to blow him up w/ a drone and blocked his number. Guhhh what a goob

The number showing up is (401)648-9484, but of course the call is not really coming from New Jersey, but a call center in India. If any of you use craigslist to buy, sell or job hunt, just know that 90% of those postings are bullshit and designed to collect your personal information. When are we going to make these companies and websites liable for these scams and harassment? Meanwhile, the Indian guy who calls himself "Jack" calls me 2 to 3 times a day. I've found a fun way to deal with him by using prankdial.com to prank him back with a fake caller ID number.

they started calling me on monday. leaving messages. they called like 15 times. tuesday they called 7 times and i answered. i had been magically approved for a loan i had not applied for. after telling them this my phone got infected with a virus and all my info gone. i got up friday to have loan applications in my gmail. they are real scammers. call your phone carrier, sprint can block up to 50 numbers. i did that and hadnt heard from them again.

They start calling at 7:30 AM and call all day. If you ask them to remove your number, they become very rude and ignorant. I've blocked the number but they still continue to call. Every time they call, I return the call and blow an extremely loud whistle in their ear. You think they would get the message.

I just received my first call from this number. I never answer numbers that I don't recognize. I give it a few minutes and then check my voice mail. If no messages, I assume that it was not an important call. If they start calling repeatedly, I will call them repeatedly until they stop. According to the other posts on here that that is the only way to get rid of them.

This phone number has called me multiple times . It is auto loan network (some foreigner every call) Same guy. Told them multiple times not to call, reported this # multiple time to the do not contact list ! Getting damn tired of it!! You can call the # back it's the same guy every time they just hang up on you! I ask to speak to a manager and get hung up on. My husband tried to call them and asked for a manager and got told to SHUT UP!

File an FCC complaint and also a complaint with the Rhode Island Attorney General. I've been harassed too, but when I FINALLY got them to pick up, I informed the guy (I'm so surprised he didn't hang up this time) that he was violating state and federal law and that nuisance/harassment calls to numbers on the Do Not Call Registries can result in fines and imprisonment. I know this guy is a schmuck hourly dude, but I'm sure it left an impression. Yes, I'm sure they're in India, buying access to state-side numbers, but still, the FCC and R.I. Attorney General cannot ignore hundreds if not thousands of complaints they receive from us; just keep bombarding them with reports.

My husband decided since they like to call me all the time that he is going to start calling them and harassing them as well! At least if they are picking up my husbands calls every time then that might just give some rest to the next victim of theirs. -

I also started getting phone calls from this phone number finally. I started calling them back and they started hanging up on me. When he first called I told him that I didn't apply for any type of loan he didn't even say anything he just hung up so I called back he hung up on me 3 times with out saying a word finally on the 4th call he actually spoke and I told him Do not call me anymore and again he just hung up on me.

I have been called for weeks now by this same number have been cussed out when I call them back and finally I reverted to blowing a whistle in their ears when they call and then I call them back and blow the whistle in their ears it seems to have slowed them down they have only called me 5 times today. I have now called them 5 plus times to blow the whistle in their ears. I am a cancer patient in treatment and explained that to them and they told me to shut the F up and hung up.

I started getting calls from this number about a week ago. They called from 8-15 times a day. Asking to be taken off their list did no good. The number is from out of the country, so the correct law enforcement and government agencies said they can do nothing. Thanks to some people here, I decided to take a stand. For the past 24 hours, my husband and I have taken turns of harassing this number back. For the first two hours, we called them back constantly. We sang show tunes to them. We asked them if they wanted to talk to our dogs. We asked them their opinion on TV and movies. And I'd just call and say "Please hold for the next available representative." When they called back a couple hours later, I answered with "Bury the body deeper, hon, we have another one of them calls." Then I spent another hour calling them back. They tried calling two more times yesterday and I responded as I mentioned earlier. Then this morning they called again. My husband answered and sang and then laughed hysterically. We called them back, harassing for 10 minutes. Then they called again almost two hours later. I answered by singing "Happy Birthday to me." Then I called back 3 times with nonsense, asking if they wanted to talk to my dogs, then if they wanted to talk to my cats, then if they had an opinion on a TV show I was watching. My husband gleefully took the phone and called them and started singing and laughing hysterically. I'm happy to announce that I am now apparently blocked by them. Legal routes don't work with this group. Run with it and harass them back in a most obnoxious way. Be patient, but they will go away.
On a more serious note, be very wary of any calls from India. I've been hacked and had funds stolen from one of these Indian hackers. I am not a prejudiced person, and I know there are hackers from every country and continent. But, in my experience, these Indians are really the most persistent and best at the scam.
