just had a telimarkerter keep trying to sell me the credit card after i said 3 times to be put on the DNC list, THEN the idiot asks if he can call me from his cell phone to offer his personal services. Tried to call the number back to report him and it was disconnected!!!

They called to lower the interest rate. I asked what the last 4 digits of the card were and they referred to a card that has been closed for over a year. Once I told them that, they stopped speaking but didn't hang up or respond to my attempt to see who they were and how they got the number.

THey call me approximately once a day every day of the week. I have never answered it due to reading the responses on this site (THANK YOU). I have blocked them from calling me again. and I am also on the Do Not Call list. Rather annoying.

I am on the national do-not-call registry list. Yesterday (409) 123-4567 called me and there is a recorded message inviting me to press 9 to speak to someone about lowering the interest rate on my credit card. There was no key choice choice given to take myself off their call list. Today the same call. I pressed 9 and was patched through to a polite call center worker saying he could help lower my interest rate. I asked him what company he represented, he said Cardmember Services from Atlanta, GA. I asked who their CEO was, he said he did not have access to that info. I asked who their legal representation was, he said he didn't have access. He asked if I wanted to speak to his manager, I said yes. I asked the manager why I was being harassed with phone calls at work when I am on the do-not-call list. He said I was harassing him at work since it was my fault I pressed 9. I said I wanted to speak to their legal counsel since I'm being harassed, he was very rude and told me it was my problem. I told him he was obliged to connect me with legal. He was rude (though never cursed, which was nice), then hung up on me. Clearly some type of scam.

I was received a call also from 409 123 4567 at 1130 am in North Dakota. No message was left. Disconnected before I could answer it. I wonder if this is the NSA spying on us trying to track the location of political dissidents? Does anyone on this string have politically incorrect beliefs?

It starts with an automated message, so I pressed 9 to speak with a rep. No company name given, they just say that they can help you with your credit cards. I told them to put me on their do not call list and the person said "b****, hang up." I told them I would not until they put me on that list and they said "no, b****, I'm not going to do that." I told them it was illegal not to do that and they hung up on me.
