I have received several calls from different numbers. Sometimes they answer, but not always. Today there has been two calls without the calling part answering. Today's calls are a new number , but I have had calls from the police departments asking for money for retired cops and for injured cops. Thanks for posting the police type of calls as this is very irritating to my family.

I didn't answer the call right away. They didn't leave a message. I tried calling the number. Received the
"I'm sorry but this number has been disconnected or is no longer in ser-
vice"recording. That means it was a "spoofed" number and the caller is a scammer out to take your money. They never quit. -

414-800-2987 has called my home 20+ times in one week. Caller claims to be fundraising for police. When I identify myself as a police officer and ask for their business license information, caller hangs up. This a scam. DO NOT give them anything!

caller starts out a man saying that he is a cop and seeking donations for the family's of slain troopers and then after pushing to get me to agree to do a 15 dollar donation transfers me to someone that does not seem to speak english and i was concerned so i gave them a fake address and name well they called back from a different number and freaked out on me over the information and demanded i give them real address and name if they were really seeking donations from a monitored list as the police should and would do then they would know my information already right?
