   Guy called and said he was Microsoft and they got called I was downloading corrupt files. Asked if it was me, take it serious, told him it was not me but it could be someone in my family and asked him to call latter. He said the virus was a Trojan XXXX and is after personal data and to take the call serious. He would call back. I then looked up the number. Note the number appears but the caller is Unknown

   This guy called and said he was from Microsoft and that I had to follow his instructions regarding XP and that my computer is going to crash if I dont upgrade with him on the phone. I said I would call Microsoft myself and he said that wouldn't be possible and only out going calls can be done. I hung up on him. He called me back and yelled at me and said, "Don't blame me when your computer crashes", then he hung up on me. Then he called again and didn't say a word but listened to my voice then hung up on me. I pressed *69 and this number came up. Beware everyone!!!! Do not give any information to anyone who calls from Microsoft or from XP. It's a scam and they only want your personal information. Thanks

    ...they said i was downloading corrupted files from the internet and they would repair my computer. they just needed my id and personal info - so i noticed it was fake! so be attentive!

    I got a call from this number. The caller claimed that he is an employee from microsoft. There are general problems with my computer and he can fix the problems, therefore he needed personal datas from me. I read a lot of this kind of spam. For that reason I didn´t tell him anything and hung up.
