We've ALL Had Enough reported Informed Electorate with the number +14697010053 as Harassment calls
I know we've all had it with all the nonsense from these harassment calls.
I just linked up with nomorobo from my phone company about 2 weeks ago. It is a godsend. I estimate this is eliminating well over 95% of the calls from these subhumans. I strongly recommend nomorobo. IT'S FREE!!! -

The best way to get Congress to do something about this would be to call your current member of Congress at both there their local and Washington offices. Tell them you are being harassed by phone scams and that you need their help. After they tell you that this is managed by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), tell them thank you and hang up. Every time you get a scam call, you again call Congress and tell them the same thing. When they tell you that they already told you that this is managed by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), you tell them that the call got you so upset that you forgot what they had said before. Call them every time you get one of these calls. After they get hundreds or even thousands of callers each calling them several times, maybe they will do something about it. Information for members of Congress can be found on the left hand side about halfway down the page at https://www.congress.gov//

It's a very slick operation as it sounds very real. But after receiving several calls over the last few months, I believe I'm talking to a machine, not a person. If I ask a question, he either repeats what he just said or says, "I can't hear you; we must have a bad connection. I'll call you back on another line." Of course, he doesn't. Not sure if this is one of those scams that records people voices for nefarious purposes. But NEVER say "yes" or "I agree" to anyone you don't know to avoid those scams.
topmom replied 7/7/17, 10:27 AMI had a call from Informed Electorate using a different number. After I hung up when I thought about the conversation I became very concerned about how it was conducted and what I said "approve" and "yes" to their questions. The number used was 470-231-4426 could they be using a different number now. -

Scam! Called our office fax line. We are located in Canada. Clearly they don't do their research and are just looking for money. Their website is a joke. It posts things like "thank you for your patience while we continue to grow our website" and then just have the election results on another page. Red flags, red flags everywhere.

I asked for a mail-in form and told them I don't use my cc online nor would I give my bank routing Info to anyone. I did receive the mailing. Now I'm a bit confused, but have decided to ignore it. the Return address gives #888-737-4838 and has an option to put my # on do-not-call list - did that.

at first, I didn't mind answering their questions, just 1 or 2 about the election. Then on call #3, the 'person' on the line took way too much time telling me his spiel. Then wanted $20..$10...or can they put it on hold for any amount.

Starts out with a survey question and then wants money. Wants your credit card or bank routing number but will not provide a written request for donation...hmmm
NJM replied 12/1/16, 11:02 AMI asked for a writen donation request and they DID send one. Still, I feel unsure about the validity of this organization.

Everybody knows "Do Not Call" does NOT Work. Try "No More Robot Calls" @ WWW.nomorobo.com. It's a no fee service (for VoiP land lines), eliminated 95 % of my Spam. Check the site . . . it explains how it works and it costs nothing (for land lines) ! [And No, I don't have stock in the company, but I wish I did!]
