listed on craigslist say he will send check via ups or pay pal claims to be on Base? Reaks of scam I had Three Different Scammers TEXTING ME IN ONE DAY all claiming to be in the US army, I told them all I hope One day you get whats coming to you from a Real US Army Sargent. Makes me sick told him get a job low life!

5104558045 caller from this number claims to be Sgt Smart..from National Guard Air Force Base in Michigan..wants to buy a bike i have listed on craigs list for Georgia..wants to do it through my paypal acct...cannot speak on phone because they are not allowed to make phone calls...lol REALLY!!

Contacted me about a wedding dress I had posted on Craigslist. Asked if I had a PayPal account. Informing him I do not, his response was
"kindly sign up for a paypal acct @ www.paypal.com. It's just a few steps away from signing up ok? It's safe and secure for both parties and I have been using PayPal to buy and sell for years now without problems. Let me know when you are done signing up."
Seemed kind of pushy. Asked him where he was located and he said Air National Guard Band of the Northeast Battle Creek Air National Guard Base Michigan.

Texted yesterday 9/23/2015 regarding my LV bag, wanting my full name and paypal email. wanted to send me $1750.00 plus $500.00 for shipping. Said he was on base. He said his name is John Smart. I tried to call, but it said the user uses unlimited text messages and no calls could be received.
He sounded fishy on text i told him that i was a single mother and that he would be very disappointed in my bank accounts cuz there was no money in there. Posed as US military, wanted to buy a $40 pair of shoes I listed on CL. Asked about PayPal and I wouldn't give them any info. Found his number online, told him I was on to him and also told him to F off. Haven't heard from him since.

4804396527 this is a scam artist. Pretends to want to buy goods. Really is trying to get seller to send money via western union. Tries to only communicate by emails and text. PayPal spoof inform me that this person is phishing for people's personal information so beware!!!

Person called and wanted to pay for product without even trying to lower the price or seeing the item in person! They then wanted PayPal Account immediately.

This number responded to craigslist add. Vague. Quick to want to buy $5000+ item with very little info. Requested paypal info. When I asked if I could call and visit with the buyer, the responding text said "I am located at Air National Guard Band of the Northeast Battle Creek Air National Guard Base" Michigan. Seemed fishy so googled the phone number. After seeing above comments, I asked for certified check but got no reply from potential buyer.

Texted me regarding an ad for a puppy. Wanted my paypal address asap and didn't even ask any questions about the puppy, just kept saying he wanted to pay in full. Terrible grammar and English was my first clue. As soon as I asked for more information, he stopped responding...
